The hospitality ministry is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to using their gifts and finding purpose through serving the Lord and welcoming community to our church. This ministry is led by Christina and Greg Braden who have a heart to ensure that everyone who encounters HVCC feels welcomed and valued and are able to connect to mission and the purpose of this community.
Our team consists of:
- Greeters
Welcoming and greeting members and visitors on the patio. These volunteers love people and always have a smile on their face. “Welcome, you belong here!” is our motto!
- Lobby Host
These 3 volunteers welcome and hand out connection material to everyone guest that walks through the door. They identify newcomers and show them to our connection table, and they meet immediate needs and questions.
- Sanctuary Host
Our sanctuary hosts welcome people into the sanctuary, communicating to newcomers that they can sit wherever they are comfortable. These hosts will assist people to their seats if they wish, and can provide additional help if needed.
- Connection Table
This table is the central hub of HVCC Hospitality and will have all communication and connection materials available for guest, including first time visitor guests, sign up information for community groups, bibles, and where connection becomes reality.
